Birthplace to our current Secretary of State, John Kerry, Aurora is a large metropolitan area with its own flavor. Since incorporation in 1929, Aurora has become quite the city for many people. It grew from a small town to one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S.
Aurora Southeast is in Arapahoe and Douglas Counties and lies east of Centennial and theDenver Tech Center. Nestled between Parker and Centennial, Aurora Southeast is a quiet part of the city where you can enjoy the beauty of Colorado with the conveniences of metro Denver. You can find easy access to E-470 and I-25 in southeast Aurora.
The “newer” section of Aurora, Aurora Southeast consists of suburban living in the form of large ski-lodge inspired custom homes, kit homes from the 1970′s and 1980′s and even sprawling horse properties set amongst mature landscaping including Ponderosa Fir trees.
Aurora offers exquisite shopping and dining areas such as Southlands Mall and Arapahoe Crossing. If you want to be one with nature, southeast Aurora has the Aurora Reservoir andQuincy Reservoir for you to spend the day at. Located along the I-470 corridor, Southeast Aurora includes the Saddle Rock Golf Course and Blackstone Country Club.
Although farther in distance from the mountains than Denver, the approximately 1,000 feet that can be gained in altitude in Southeast Aurora allows for spectacular panoramic views of the Rocky Mountain Range to the west. When you are ready to go home, southeast Aurora contains beautiful neighborhoods such as Tallyn’s Reach and Saddlerock for you to hang your hat and call home. Peace, quiet, and tranquility are three qualities that southeast Aurora offers.
